Grand Teton National Park - Storm Clouds Over the Snake River
I wanted to get this specific scene from this specific spot because I wanted to recreate the photo that Ansel Adams took of this same river. The Snake River. When Adams took this classic black and white landscape photo, the trees weren't as tall as they are now, so he could see the whole river, I believe he was also standing on a car. But I was fortunate enough to be there right as a perfect storm cloud formed right over the peak of the Grand. This is one of my favorite images from this trip and I have a print of my own hanging in my living room. It makes a wonderful home decor!
